Yoga

Yoga is an ancient art form which can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age, gender, or physical condition.  The study of yoga promotes awareness of ones self through postures, stretches, meditation and breathing exercises.  In doing so we learn to relieve stress and achieve calmness in our busy lives.  Yoga also promotes physical conditioning.  In practicing the postures, muscles are toned and flexibility is obtained allowing for free range of motion.

  • Yoga can be practiced by anyone regardless of age, gender, or level of fitness.

A.M. Yoga – is a gentle form focusing on moving in out of postures slowly and smoothly.  We also focus on:  Relaxation through breathing exercises, Stretching  with asanas (postures) and Mediation  clearing our minds of busy thoughts and allowing it to slow down.

P.M. Yoga – is a Power Yoga form utilizing various forms of postures and breathing exercises from Chinese, Indian, African, Japanese and Indonesian Internal Styles.  With emphasis on: total body balance, stretching, strength, meditation and relaxation techniques.
